The screw is produced in hardened carbon steel with a CorrSeal surface treatment for outdoor environments. The screw is fitted with a cutter along the stem and one on the point. This means a very low drive-in torque in harder materials and minimizes splitting. On screws longer than 130 mm, there is an additional fiber cut directly after the usual wood thread, this is to facilitate installation of longer and thicker screws. The screw conforms to the CE requirement as per EN14592.
Application:
ESSVE’s Wood screw HEX with two fiber cuts, hexagonal head intended for most installation work in wood, chipboard, plywood, etc.
